Crossfit Nyack-Nyack Fitness has decided to incorporate Crossfit into our facility as our Group Fitness Program.  Simply because Crossfit works and its a great complement to our private personal training program.  How do we know? Because Crossfit is an organization that is constantly evaluating the success of its programs and clients. We want to provide another level of group training to our clients that will not only be cost effective to them , but that will still honor the high level of quality service we offer here.

Crossfit is group conditioning.  Workouts are designed to condition a participant for any physical activity found in sport, work, or recreation.  The program will build strength, endurance, flexibility, power, agility, speed, accuracy and functional capacity. Not too mention the muscle development and fat burning effects of this program. These workouts could include such activities as lifting weights, running, rowing, swimming, jumping rope, lifting objects and kettlebell exercises.

At Crossfit Nyack we strive to follow Crossfit headquarters recommendations, but modifications to the workouts will be made according to the participants abilities. Our goal is to see everyone achieve the prescribed exercise, however form  and accuracy come first.

Give it a try, and don’t judge the program until you try it out at least 5 times.  Crossfit is a new way of thinking about exercise and takes time to understand its benefits and how to start out in this program.

Crossfit is for every conditioning level, weather you are just starting out, or you have been hitting the workouts hard for quite some time.  We can take any level and run them thru a great workout in the same class.  This gives new people a chance to workout with some really well conditioned people who were once like you.   With dedication to having a great time at crossfit nyack on a consistant basis, you will be surprised at the unlimited ability of your body.
