“Any one can learn Karate”
. Karate is a moving zen, an activity that the entire family can do together. My Sensei would tell me Karate training is like having gold in your pocket. The training keeps you young, respectful and humble. I’ve trained correction officers, children, older adults and parents that want their life back from years of  not working out and being physically out of shape. The hardest part is showing up – stepping on the deck. Those that train regularly see results quickly. Karate training is a life long marathon. A never ending quest for perfection… of developing the spirit and body to defeat your opponent, (that opponent is you), your weaknesses, your flaws, your character, courage… always moving forward”.

Nyack Fitness Karate classes focus on 19 Kata & full body conditioning (that burns fat) and “Hojo Undo”, supplementary training exercises that develop ambidextrous physical strength, stamina, muscle coordination and speed/power. We train kihon (basics), traditional blocks/strikes, punches, kicks, yakusoku kumite, balance, timing and kime while developing flexibility, confidence and self defense empowering skills for life.

Private instruction available by appointment. Start training today, we offer 6 classes a week. Call for more info 845 353 8505, or email: preston@to-te.org
